You will need a valid Passport to Travel Internationally that has at least six (6) months remaining before its expiration date.

In MOST cases, the Country we are traveling to will issue you a Visa on the spot. There will be some small form to fill out while on the plane or in Customs and Born To Dive will walk you through this process.

We both suggest carrying Travel and Dive Insurance. We do not promote one over the other, however we would be happy to make some recommendations. Some Countries and/or Resorts may require.

A majority of destinations will accept the US Dollar. We suggest smaller denominations and that you get clean, undamaged and unmarked bills from your bank to ensure local vendors will accept. When local currency is best, the Born To Dive Team will advise. For credit cards, one with No Foreign Transaction Fees is always best and should not be used at ALL locations to ensure your credit safety. Again, the Crew will provide specific details on each individual trips.

No, most of our trip are designed for divers and non-divers, but if you are planning to scuba dive on our trips you must be dive certified prior to departure.

Each trip is different, but this is where the Born To Dive experience kicks in, we will start sending emails approximately 4 months prior to your trip and we will cover everything you need to know to have a stress-free experience from “Door To Shore”. We also never take you anywhere that we have not gone before to check out everything in advance.

No, you can always come on our trips as a single, in most cases there is a upcharge for single occupancy.
